Happy Thanksgiving. JCPS will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28.

In order to keep our families informed with the needed information, we would like to provide you with our Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) plan. As part of our NTI plan, we will be sending home with your student the OAS NTI choice packet. These packets are not to be completed unless an NTI day is called in the future. In your email, I have attached a copy of the NTI plan and a digital copy of the choice board packet.

All JCPS schools and buildings will open and operate as normal on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025. Our crews tested the water and air quality at all of our schools and buildings today and everything came back normal. Louisville Metro Government officials have also informed us that it is safe to reopen schools. Our thoughts remain with all those affected by Tuesday’s tragic plane crash.
