STATE OF THE DISTRICT | Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio delivered his seventh and final State of the District address today at The Olmsted. Thanks to the generosity of many, the event helped raise more than $65,000 for the JCPS Community Scholarship Fund, which supports graduating JCPS seniors! This includes things like funds for Room Parents to supply items needed for crafts during class parties, water bottles, snacks, popsicles, etc. for events, popcorn for popcorn parties, Teacher Appreciation gifts/meals and many other things. For this particular event, we will receive 25% of all meals purchased from Tully families! Spread the word and PLAN TO EAT DINNER AT BLAZE! 🍕😎

Tully would like to invite you to be a career day speaker. Simply share a 10-15 minute presentation with students. Tell them what you do each day when you go to work and remember to emphasize the importance of education. Children enjoy visuals; so any models, samples, and/or videos you can show will keep the students even more engaged. If you are interested in being a career day presenter in your child’s class; and other classrooms, please complete the google form by 03/07. Thanks for helping make Career Day a SUCCESS! ✅ BOARD UPDATE | During yesterday's Jefferson County Board of Education (JCBE) meeting, the Constitutional Oath of Office was administered to JCBE members Gail Logan Strange (District 1), Tricia Lister (District 2), Trevin Bass (District 4), and Taylor Everett (District 7), who were elected in November. Also during last night's meeting, Dr. Corrie Shull was elected chairperson of the JCBE, and James Craig was elected vice chairperson. Thank you to all of our JCBE members for their dedication to JCPS!
