We understand that the current government shutdown may be creating challenges for families, especially with the temporary pause in SNAP benefits and other supports. Please know that you are not alone — our school community is here to help.
If your family could use extra support , local food pantries and community organizations are available to provide groceries, meals, and other resources. You’re welcome to contact our Family Resource Center Coordinator (Jessica Cherry at 502-677-1499) for confidential assistance or to connect with nearby programs.
For families who are able and would like to help, donations of nonperishable food items or monetary donations can be make directly to the food pantry of your choice. Every contribution makes a difference and helps ensure all of our students and families have what they need.
Together, we can take care of one another and keep our Bates community strong. 💛
