ACTION REQUIRED | We need to know how your child will get to and from school for the 2026-27 school year. The JCPS Transportation Verification (TV) form is now open. Every JCPS family must complete this form to let us know how your child will get to and from school.

The final day to request bus transportation for the first day of school is June 8, 2026. Eligible bus riders who fill out the Transportation Verification form by June 8, 2026, will be notified of their bus stop location in July via the JCPS Bus Teller. Chromebook Collection Begins Tomorrow

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we approach the end of the school year and prepare for upcoming KSA testing, we will begin our formal Chromebook collection process starting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15th.

To ensure a smooth transition and to make sure all students have functional technology for their assessments, we ask for your support with the following:

Collection Kickoff: Beginning tomorrow, teachers will start verifying and collecting student devices. We are asking students to turn in their Chromebooks with the power on and screens open so that we can quickly confirm they are in good working order.

Damaged Devices: Any devices that are non-functional or have significant damage (such as missing keys) will be sent to the library for repair immediately to ensure we have enough working units for testing.

Charger Return: We are also collecting excess chargers. Students should be prepared to turn in their chargers as part of this process.

Classroom Use & Flexibility: Once devices are collected and verified, they will remain in designated classroom sets for secure storage and testing purposes. Because these devices will no longer be going home, students should be prepared for more "paper and pencil" lessons starting this week.

Testing Window: Please note that from April 30th through May 8th, classroom Chromebooks will be prioritized for KSA testing groups. During this time, students may not have individual access to a device during their regular class periods.

We appreciate your help in reminding your student to bring their device and charger to school tomorrow so we can complete this inventory efficiently. Thank you for your continued partnership in a successful end to the school year!

Crosby Parents,

Happy Monday! We hope you had a refreshing break.
The energy in the building is contagious right now! As we move into the final weeks of the 2025-26 school year, our classrooms are buzzing with student voices. We are intentionally trading extra screen time for active discussion and shared ideas, allowing our students to show off everything they’ve learned since August.

We know the end of the year can be busy, but your support at home makes all the difference. Let’s keep that momentum going and celebrate the hard work our students have put in. Make sure to check out the PTSA slide for updates!

See you at the finish line! #ThePlaceToBe - CLICK HERE to view the remainder of the weekly: https://canva.link/kaj930lgty2npub

Dear PTSA Members and Families,

As we begin planning for the next school year, we are looking for volunteers to serve on the PTSA Board. Some of our current board members will be stepping down at the end of this year as their students move on from 8th grade, and we would love to welcome new faces to help continue supporting our school community.

Serving on the PTSA Board is a great way to stay involved, support our students and staff, and help shape the programs and activities that make our school special. No prior PTSA experience is required—just a willingness to help and collaborate with other parents and caregivers.

If you are interested in learning more about available board positions or would like to volunteer, please reach out to us directly at crosbymsptsapresident@gmail.com. We are happy to answer any questions and share more details about the roles.

Thank you for considering being part of the PTSA and for your continued support of our school.

PTSA membership is so important to what we do for all students. Please join us for the 2025/2026 school year by signing up for a membership. This has to be renewed each year for each PTA/PTSA.

Join PTSA at https://crosbymsptsa.givebacks.com/store?limit=21&live=true

Thank you to those who have registered, and to those who are thinking, please go ahead and register !!

The Bookstore is open year-round during lunch so students can purchase school supplies and spiritwear. We are always looking for help to keep the bookstore running! If you are interested, please sign up for a date, and our VP of the Bookstore, Julie Dunn, will be glad to help with any questions. The February, March, and April sign-up spots are open

Crosby Parents and Guardians,

Throughout February, Crosby Middle School was honored to host our Black History Month Speaker Series, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world leadership for our Explore Pathway students. It was a privilege to welcome such distinguished professionals into our building to share their journeys and expertise with the next generation of Crosby leaders. Our students received powerful messages that extended beyond networking and professionalism, focusing deeply on the essential pillars of reliability and character.

These sessions provided our young people with a tangible roadmap for success, proving that technical skill must always be paired with personal integrity. We are incredibly grateful to our community partners for helping us ensure that Crosby remains a place where students are not just educated, but truly inspired.
