The first-grade team at Greathouse/Shryock Elementary—Ms. Wilson, Ms. McAndrew, Ms. Kissell, and Ms. Wilkerson have been honored with the prestigious Baird Excellence Award for their outstanding work as a Professional Learning Community (PLC ) last night at The Olmstead. Often called the “Oscars for Educators,” this award recognizes educators and teams that go above and beyond to ensure student success through collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to growth.
Nominated by Principal Ms. Slusher, the team has demonstrated remarkable dedication to creating engaging lessons, supporting one another, and utilizing data-driven practices to meet the needs of every child.
