Presented by Old National Bank, the Immies event celebrates the great work done to help kids thrive, households grow stronger, and ensure our community is more equitable!

ACTION REQUIRED | We need to know how your child will get to and from school for the 2026-27 school year. The JCPS Transportation Verification (TV) form is now open. Every JCPS family must complete this form to let us know how your child will get to and from school.
The final day to request bus transportation for the first day of school is June 8, 2026. Eligible bus riders who fill out the Transportation Verification form by June 8, 2026, will be notified of their bus stop location in July via the JCPS Bus Teller. You can find more information here: https://cloudapps.jefferson.kyschools.us/TransportationPortal

If you have volunteered or supported our school in any way this year—whether in the classroom, at events, or behind the scenes—we encourage you to self-nominate using the form below.
Our goal is to continue growing our volunteer community, and this luncheon is our way of saying thank you with a special certificate and lunch in your honor.
Please complete the form by Monday, April 20. Invitations and RSVP details will be sent after submissions are received.

Highlands You Recreation (HYR) has sports programs for around 2,000 kids each year, ages 4-16. We have several players from Greathouse every year.
Our four seasons include Spring and Fall Soccer, Summer Baseball, and Winter Basketball. All our leagues are Co-ed, and all of the practices and games are in the Highlands. All of our leagues are open to all players and focus on a community-based model where all players are given equal playing time

St. Matthews location (3925 Shelbyville Road) or Springhurst Towne Center (10512 Fischer Park Drive)

We are offering four sessions:
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (each day)
These workshops are designed to be a fun, hands-on STEM experience for students while also giving parents a little break. The location is ideal—families can enjoy the walking trails just behind the center or take advantage of nearby shopping.

✅ REMINDER | There is no school for students this Friday, April 3. Friday is a Professional Development Flex Day for staff. Students are also off April 6-10 for Spring Break.

Superintendent Dr. Brian Yearwood accepted the award on behalf of the district.
Thank you to Dare to Care for standing alongside JCPS as we work to remove barriers and create brighter futures for every learner!
