Our JTown Student Ambassadors headed over to Carrithers Middle School for an incredible Charger Day! They spent the day leading hands-on learning activities with 7th-grade Explore students, giving them a real look at what it’s like to be part of our Career Academies.

Our students led the way in:
🩺 Health Science – Patient care and medical simulations.
🛠️ Build & Design – Focusing on engineering and essential skilled trade skills.
💼 Business – Entrepreneurship and professional leadership.

We also hosted a Lunch and Learn session where Carrithers students could ask our ambassadors anything and everything about the high school experience—from classes and clubs to what it's really like to be a JTown Charger. 🗣️

Our very own Dayvone Harrison was honored this past Sunday, March 22, at the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation Mr. Basketball Awards Ceremony! 🏆✨

Athletic Director Jimmy Durham and Head Coach Richard Duncan were in Lexington to support Dayvone as he stood among the state's elite. We are incredibly proud of his hard work, leadership, and the way he represents J-Town both on and off the court.

THIS WEEKEND | The East Area Elementary Family Resource Center Coordinators are hosting a Community Baby Shower and Early Childhood Parent Resource Fair this Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Klondike Elementary.

Any expectant parents or parents of children ages 0-5 years are invited to attend this FREE event. The event will feature several parent sessions for new and expectant moms that will provide help with breastfeeding, birthing plans, advocating for yourself and your child, and taking care of your mental health during and after pregnancy.
