Due to forecasted frigid temperatures in the early morning hours on Monday, December 15, 2025, we have made the decision to use a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) day for students and staff. Temperatures are expected to warm throughout the day so all after school athletic and extracurricular activities will go on as scheduled.

If you need help submitting your application for the 2026-27 school year, the Office of School Choice will be on-site at the Newburg Library this Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. You can also receive assistance from the Office of School Choice, M-F, over the phone at (502) 485-6250 or at the LAM building.

The Southern High School Book Club is having a book sale.  All hardcover books will cost $3, and all paperback books will cost $2.  Students can stop by the library anytime during the month of December to make a purchase.  This is a great time to stock up on gifts for the holiday season.
