We have had an AMAZING first day of school so far! No matter how many years I work in this profession, the first day of school always has a special positive energy about it, and I’m honored to be a part of it.

I want to thank all of you for coaching your students on the new cell phone law and policy – we have had very few issues, and students are doing GREAT keeping them away, even in the hallways between classes. We do need to reiterate that this law applies to ALL devices – not just phones, but also smart watches, headphones/AirPods, and tablets/iPads. We’ve been making announcements and reviewing this with students, but want to partner with parents and ask that you remind students that they can’t wear those smart watches, or use headphones or tablets between 8:40-3:20 either. Thanks for the assistance as we enforce what is now state law.

The flyer invites people to meet hiring managers for positions in Custodians, Maintenance, Early Childhood, Nutrition Services, Mechanics/Body Workers, Transportation, and Bilingual Associate Instructors. Services available include interpreters and application assistance. Attendees should bring a resume and two references with emails.
