🚨 ACTION REQUIRED | TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY! 🚨We need to know how your child will get to and from school for the 2026-27 school year.

Today, June 8, 2026, is the final day to request bus transportation for the first day of school. Every JCPS family must complete the Transportation Verification (TV) form to let us know your plans.

Eligible bus riders who fill out the form by the end of the day today will be notified of their bus stop location in July via the JCPS Bus Teller. Don't delay—get your request in now!

Calling all ZT library books! 📚 If your child still has a book checked out, a letter was sent home with them yesterday. All ZT books will be distributed to the other elementary schools in our cluster this summer. We are NOT collecting money for missing books this year. Every student with all books turned in will get a popsicle during our silent disco on Monday!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week. To: Mrs. Lopez. Fern Creek High School Dear Mrs. Lopez, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for everything you've done for me. When I look back on my high school experience, I don’t think about or talk about my grade in your class, but rather, I remember and talk about you. There were days when I needed more than just a teacher, and somehow, you always knew. You are someone who listens without judging, someone who can make anyone feel safe and welcome. Now, as I’m about to graduate high school, I can wholeheartedly say you were one of the most important people in my high school journey. You changed me in ways I didn’t even realize at the time.
