Doss High School DECA chose a project for the Harbor House as our community service project this past Spring. We collected books for all age groups to use to build them an in house library. Mrs. Wilson, our Academy Coach, happily delivered the books this morning to get the process started. Thank you to Leanora for helping our vision come to life!

Today, June 8, 2026, is the final day to request bus transportation for the first day of school. Every JCPS family must complete the Transportation Verification (TV) form to let us know your plans.

Eligible bus riders who fill out the form by the end of the day today will be notified of their bus stop location in July via the JCPS Bus Teller. Don't delay—get your request in now!

Today we celebrated our multilingual learners who showed outstanding growth on the WIDA ACCESS test by increasing their scores by 0.5 or more! When I look back on my high school experience, I don’t think about or talk about my grade in your class, but rather, I remember and talk about you. There were days when I needed more than just a teacher, and somehow, you always knew. You are someone who listens without judging, someone who can make anyone feel safe and welcome. Now, as I’m about to graduate high school, I can wholeheartedly say you were one of the most important people in my high school journey. You changed me in ways I didn’t even realize at the time.
