🚀 NEXT LEVEL | The JCPS Technology division teamed up with Google for Education and Forward Edge to host Google-Palooza earlier this week—welcoming 500+ teachers and staff to level up their skills in Google Workspace and dive into the future of AI with Gemini!

And that’s not all… 🎉 JCPS has officially completed its districtwide migration from Microsoft Outlook to Gmail, powering stronger collaboration, innovation, and connection across our schools! Huge thanks to everyone involved for helping keep JCPS on the cutting edge.

Congratulations to 8th grader Rhea T. for placing in the Top 5 among middle school students across Kentucky in the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition (KAAC) Scenario Writing Competition!

Rhea’s futuristic creative writing piece earned her a spot among the very best in the state. Her final placement will be announced at the State Competition in March at the Galt House.

The Meyzeek Chess Team—Prathyun D., Jason F., Anamta A., Vedansh T., and Andrew N.—competed in the Quad B Regional Chess Championship Tournament on Saturday and took 1st Place in the K–8 section!

Due to the additional snow and ice on roads and sidewalks throughout Jefferson County, JCPS will utilize a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) day on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Students should follow their school’s established NTI protocols. NTI days are recognized as standard instructional days and will not extend the school calendar.

All after school athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled for Wednesday. If there are any changes to the YMCA CEP program, families will be notified by YMCA CEP.
