The JCPS Communications team has been honored with nine national awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) for its exceptional work during the 2024–25 school year.

These accolades, part of NSPRA’s prestigious Publication and Digital Media Awards, recognize school districts that excel in video production, branding, photography and publications. In addition to powerful storytelling, the awards also recognize the branding and design work produced by the JCPS Materials Production team.

The JCPS Communications team ensures that the voices of students, teachers and staff are heard and seen — not just in Louisville but across the country.

“These awards reflect the hard work of our communications team that's dedicated to telling stories that matter," said Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio. "From life-saving moments to long-standing traditions and everyday successes, they capture what makes our district so special."

The NSPRA awards program honors the best work in school public relations each year.

“These awards represent our mission to authentically tell the stories of our students, staff and district,” said Carolyn Callahan, JCPS Chief of Communications. “Our team is deeply committed to showing the heart behind public education.”
