Nineteen Academy @ Shawnee juniors and seniors are getting a rare, innovative learning experience while partnering with Flight Club 502 and Louisville Aviation. They’re spending all day, every school day at Bowman Field. The new program has Aviation Magnet students taking their required academic courses for part of the day then spending the rest with teachers, pilots, mechanics, and administrators in the aviation field.
