At Minors Lane Elementary, students participated in a parade wearing traditional clothing from their families’ home countries. They also had “read in,” where members of the community came to the school to read to the students.
At Indian Trail, they had a parade to honor their culture and community together. There were smiles all around!
At Okolona Elementary, they hosted a Heritage parade where students proudly showcased their outfits for their school community. It was a wonderful opportunity for their students to share a piece of their culture while all students celebrated and learned together.
