Hispanic Heritage Month celebration continues across JCPS

Southern High School had a great celebration that highlighted the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. The event included a flag parade, representing various Hispanic countries, a Traditional Dress and Catrinas Parade, Quinceañera Dance(Vals de la mariposa), cultural performances and music such as la Gozaderas, El son de la negra, and Nuevayol completa, which helped students to learn more about the importance of Hispanic Culture and history in our community.
