JCPS provides free long-term disability insurance for all full-time employees.

Carrier: Voya

Eligibility: Full-time employees are automatically enrolled in this coverage after one year of full-time employment.

Rates: No cost to eligible employees. This benefit is paid for entirely by JCPS.

Benefit Amount: The plan will pay 66 2/3 percent of an employee's basic annual salary after he or she completes the elimination period.

Elimination Period: Employees must be absent for 45 consecutive working days or use all available paid sick leave days (whichever is greater) before benefits will begin.
