The Supply Services Department supports the educational process by providing quality and consistent services through a team effort. We will continually meet or exceed the needs and expectations of our customers in a cost-efficient manner.
The Property Records Office monitors district assets using a bar code system to maintain an accurate inventory of cost centers in the JCPS system.
Property Records auditors track new, transferred, donated, stolen, and retired assets at all JCPS sites. They also provide inventory reports per request to building principals and engrave non-inventory items as a courtesy upon request. Contact the appropriate Property Records Technician for assistance or location assignments.
When requested, Supply Services will pick up all obsolete furniture and equipment. The Surplus Pick-Up Form is available on page 22 of Fixed Asset Guidelines.
Equipment, furniture, or material removed from facilities is assessed according to condition and handled in one of three ways:
If unusable, items are disposed of or recycled.
If usable, items are warehoused at Farmington Warehouse for reassignment.
If unneeded by the district, items will be sold via an online auction site. Coming soon!
For all pick-ups, gather materials in a first-floor location. Exceptions would be second-floor media centers or computer labs.
