Students in caps and gowns celebrating

May 13, 2025 - The percentage of Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) seniors who are postsecondary ready or prepared for a career is expected to reach an all-time high this month. More than 7,100 students will receive diplomas from JCPS this school year, 6,880 of them this month. About 75 percent of all graduates are considered postsecondary or career ready. When a bonus is applied for students going into high-demand, high-wage fields, 81 percent are considered postsecondary/career ready.
