How Our Community Can Help (Donation Drop-off)

For members of our community who are able to help, we are establishing collection points over the next four weeks.

All JCPS Schools, Van Hoose Education Center, the Stober building, and CB Young Service Center will serve as temporary drop-off sites for donations. We are collecting:

  1. Non-Perishable Food Items: High-demand items like canned protein (tuna, chicken), peanut butter, pasta, rice, and cereal.

  2. Monetary Donations: Monetary donations offer Dare to Care the flexibility to provide and purchase food items in bulk. All monetary donations will be accepted virtually, via this webpage.

The top 10 most needed items at Dare to Care are:

  • Peanut butter

  • Soup

  • Canned fruit

  • Beans

  • Rice

  • Tuna

  • Cereal

  • Fruit juice

  • Pasta

  • Canned vegetables

The 35 JCPS schools that are part of the School Pantry Program will keep all donations received at their school for their pantry. All donations made at other JCPS schools and locations will be brought to the Dare to Care warehouse to help families throughout our community.

Thank you for being part of the JCPS community. By working together, we can ensure our students and their families have the resources they need during this difficult time.
