
JCPS families who have recently moved or will move before August 7 must report address changes by Monday, July 21, to be considered for a bus stop on the first day of school, August 7. Families can report their address changes by:

🐴 GIDDY UP FOR GREATNESS | JCPS celebrated 80 McKinney-Vento students and their families today with a powerful closing ceremony at Wilt Elementary.
After 3 weeks of learning, field trips, and resilience-building activities, students showed off their growth, enjoyed lunch, and went home with food and supplies. 💙


🎨 ART THERAPY | Students from Minor Daniels Academy teamed up with UofL Health to create “Recovery: Progress not Perfection,” a mural unveiled earlier this year at The Commitment House. Guided by art therapy, the project empowered youth through creativity, healing, and teamwork.

♜ CHECK MATE | Valley High School earned another national chess distinction! The Vikings took third in the nation in the U1200 category. Stuart Middle earned its first national honor, taking the 23rd rank in the U800 division. Grace M. James Academy of Excellence finished 17th in the U800 division.
